L'animal més forts del món és l'escarabat rinoceront (Oryctes Nasicornis). Aquest insecte pot suportar, a l'esquena, una càrrega de 30 vegades més que els seu pes durant una hora (el que equivaldria a carregar, durant una hora, un cotxe a les nostres espatlles).
Amida uns 4,5 cm de llarg, és de color negre, té un parell d'ales negres anomenades èlitres les quals cobreixen unes ales grogues i membranoses que li serveixen per volar.
